The phrase integrated change control refers specifically to a project management process that is quite often implemented over the course of a project’s life. The process that is integrated change control refers to the process that can be implemented that involves the overall reviewing of all change requests that may be submitted in regards to the project’s organizational process assets as well as to all of the deliverable that are in question. Integrated change control involves the aforementioned reviewing, and also includes the period during which these requested changes may be approved to take place, as well as the process in which the changes that have been approved may be following, tracked, and to the extent possible, controlled. The groups and individuals that may exert some form of this integrated change control can include the project management team, the particular project management team leader, and or any particular individual who represents the financial interests of the financially responsible party.
