Beginning in 2014, PMI conducted a Role Delineation Study to re-examine the role of the project manager as currently practised and applied in various industries. Using results from the study, PMI has modified the PMP exam to become more content-valid so as to reflect current practices in the project management profession. As announced, the PMP exam changes will be updated starting January 11, 2016. Following are highlights of the changes in the PMP Exam Outline as published by PMI through their website.
