The percent integrated change control is a process that involves reviewing and approving change requests. It is also involved in managing the changes to the deliverable as well as the project documents, organizational process assets, program management plan, and communication.
It is also responsible for modification of the project documents, baseline, deliverable, and it also approves or rejects the changes. The benefit of this particular project management process is that it allows the documented changes within the project to be considered in an integrated fashion thereby reducing the risk of the project.
The process is under the Control Procurements and it functions by assuring that all changes in the project management processes will be properly approved. It also ensures that the stakeholders and everyone else involved in the project will be aware of the changes made.
This particular process requires inputs such as the project management plan, change request, organizational process assets, enterprise environmental factors and the work performance reports. All of these are needed to produce outputs like approved change requests, change log, project management plan updates, and project document updates.
