Questionnaires And Surveys

In managing projects, collecting information is necessary for good decision making. There are many ways to gather information from different types of people. Most project managers use techniques like observation, focus group discussion, facilitated workshops and bench marking.

Aside from those mentioned above, one of the methods to get information is to use questionnaires and surveys. They are written sets of questions used in project management to gather a lot of information from a large number of people or respondents. It is a type of group discussion-making technique that is used for most types of audiences.

The benefit of gathering information through questionnaires and surveys is that it has a quick turnaround. It is also a good technique to use when the respondents are geographically separated. It is also a great technique especially when statistical analysis is needed.

This particular project management tool is very easy to use. The project manager basically sends a piece of paper with questions written on them to get the feedback from the respondents. Once the respondents have filled the necessary information needed, the questionnaires and survey should be organized.
